Badging remove or repaint?

I'm debating on repainting the emblems, I've got the YUKON, and GMC1500 emblems from the tailgate off, and am debating, do i just keep 'er clean looking, or should I repaint them and put em back on, its a darker teal green, what do you all think?

Thats what I was thinking, and that seems to be the common opinion around, i'm thinking when its warmer, i'll remove the side panels as well
