Just joined today and already liking the Hoes etc.. that I am seeing on here. I have a 2001 Tahoe LT 4X4 with 22X9.5 rims to start modding with. My wife drove the hoe the last 4 years and now I am driving it and have quite a few ideas. Tint the front windows, color match the front and back bumper, HID bulbs and some new extra fog lights, stereo etc....Here is a pic of my truck, have at it guys, I dont take offense easy so let me know what I should do first. Not lowering as it is 4X4 and I want to retain that capability. I have thought a lift and bigger tires but some of your trucks are making me think otherwise.

Welcome to the forums! The Tahoe looks great! Not that I'm partial to Victory Red or anything :bleh:. It will be hard for me to suggest what to do because obviously it will turn out being a clone of mine! I definitely agree with the color matching ideas, and HIDs. As far as lowering/lifting, I have always liked both for different reasons. I'm actually still waffling on what I want to do with my suspension. Looks like you have already debadged it and removed the moldings but I would remove the LT stickers as well.

Thanks, I didnt even pay attention to the LT stickers but now I see how it would look better if removed. Thankfully being an LT it has the color matched door handles and partial mirrors already. I like your ss front bumper. I may at least copy you on that. Nice hoe by the way.

Thanks! Yeah I wished mine had the color matched handles already when I got it. I made sure to include that when getting my grille, bumper, etc installed though. I can't argue with you taste on the bumper! I definitely think it's a major improvement obviously lol.

i would put a 2'' lift on the front and tuck some 33/12.50 nito mud grapelers under there and tint the windows 20% to match the back and have a ballin off road tahoe but keep it clean, and take the little black sticker off that is between the back 2 windows. and that bitch would look GOOD!

Thanks everyone. Performance mods are going to be long tubes, CAI, a tune and a cat back system.
