07-09 Nav differences

Brand new to the forum. Working on finding my first tahoe.

I'm curious as to what the differences are in the NAV systems in the 07-09 models. If I get an 07, will there be any features in the NAV I can't have software updated to the 09 capabilities?

If so, I may just get an 07 without the NAV and add aftermarket features I want.

you want the 09 for reasons more than the sat nav.
1. 6 speed automatic
2. bluetooth
3. nav traffic
4. Blind zone alert
5. built in brake controller
6. cooled front seats

The only updates you could do would be the disk itself. No way to add NavTraffic or bluetooth, even if you don't care about the rest of the things STS posted.
