Fuel Filter...

Does anyone know where the fuel filter is located on a 2007 Yukon? I spoke to a mechanic and he said they are non-serviceable. Maybe he was just blowing smoke, but I figured I could ask you guys for a straight answer.

I believe you have to drop the tank to service it, but i am not sure ive never needed to look on mine.

It is not something serviceable with regular maintenance. It is in the tank, I believe it on the pump assembly. Trust me he is not blowing smoke, times are tough in the auto repair business if there was a sale to be made he would have made it. On that note you also know he is honest because he could have sold you something and you would have never known that he did not do it.
