I ran into a Lexus GS430 that wanted to play so I let him have it. I gave him a head start and then I hammered it and reeled him in fast. He had exhaust and I'm not sure what else. The lexus runs about a 14.5 1/4.

Haha I know I just saw this WTF look on his face when I went bye. He was cool though and gave a thumbs up.

I think with how hard I pulled on him I must be into the 13's for sure. The last time I was at the track which was also my first time in my denali I ran a 14.4 @95. Since then I upped the boost to 10psi from 7psi and swapped in a built 4l80e.

I'll bet you shaved that .5 seconds needed, cold weather help hp at all? I know my buddies raced offroad trucks and on cooler days their truck responded alot better than on hot days

Its actually pretty similar temps as the day I ran at the track, but the colder temps will definately give me a little more power.

I took another video for you guys tonight.

It looks like im running about a 5 sec 0-60. Can anyone add a timer to the video that has tenths of seconds?

So ur truck is doing 5.4 - 5.8 to 60? That's sick for a big ass truck granted you're turbo'd

So your running 10 psi? That's nasty. I'm running 7psi and I have a 4l80e with a few goodies and was contemplating taking it up a couple psi but I have a 4.8. It's been running so nice and tight with not one issue for over a year that I don't wan't to jinx it..

I think its actually probably closer to 5 flat I start right at about 2.7 or so and end a tick after 7 seconds. This supercharger really woke up this sleeping beast.

It was pretty funny because people don't expect my truck to be as fast as it is.

If you've got the 4l80 I would raise the boost if the motor can take it. I'm not to familiar with the 4.8 but I know the lq4 can take 10-12psi. I upped the boost from 7psi to 10 and the difference was quite noticeable.

The one thing I would eventually plan on addressing if you raise the boost is finding a way to cool the IAT. I went with a Front mount intercooler but you could use a meth setup also.

That's what I've heard about the cooling. Gonna look into an intercooler. I have the lq9 that was infront of the 4l80e with 58k on it but this 4.8 has 35k on it and since it's running so nice right now I'd hate to pull it. Maybe another year, gives me time to do a cam freshen it up a bit. I ran a 14.8 @ 98 the last time with a set of 20" wheels so who knows what it does with the 24's, haven't taken it out..

BTW, Love the Nali man, especially with the white wheels...

I would put the 6.0 in before doing any other mods to the 4.8. You will at least be starting with a more powerful engine.

My 24's definatly slow me down. I can tell theres a big difference when running with my 20's
