the right side. when i put it on, it was make the "blinky" noise really fast, but that arrow didn't light up on the instrument panel, the blinker itself didn't flash, the head lights and interior/dash lights flashed each time and the battery meter dipped each time. i don't know if it was the COLD ass weather but i've never seen it before. i know what it's like when a bulb is out, it'll flash really fast, this was completely different. by the time i pulled back into my driveway, it was fine. weird stuff. any ideas? it's almost like there was a short somewhere cuz of the battery drain and the flickering lights.

I can't speak for the cold weather. I live in Phoenix, let's be serious here lol. So weather aside I would think it would either be a short in the system somewhere or low battery charge maybe/alternator? It almost sounds to me like there is too much drain at once and the blinker just pushed it over the top.

lol....yeah i'd agree...i'm in san antonio but it was colder than usual today and it all seemed fine by the time i got home. i'm gonna take the tail light off tomorrow and make sure all is well there. we're supposed to get snow tomorrow. i tend to agree with the rest of what you're saying...but it only happened with the right blinker, the other one was fine but it definitely seemed like a short though.

Its cold weather, it messes with the flasher relays. Plain and simple. Mine do it all the time lol. Its so stupid. Brought it to a local shop and he laughed and said, Another common GM problem.

lol whew. yeah it was weird...it was kinda fighting it in that i'd see a normal flash/blink every now and then. i know the normal fast flash when a bulb is out, but this was completely different. thanks for chiming in, now i know it's nothing major.
