24" wheels clearance problem, help please!

I recently purchased a 2007 tahoe ltz and today attempted to put on my 24" wheels that I had from my 2002 Yukon Denali. I put on one of the wheels on the drivers side front and it didn't even come close to clearing. Has anyone else had this problem? Also how do you raise the front end? My old yukon had torsion bars, this obviously doesn't.

How have you guys been getting them on?

where did it not clear? is the tahoe dropped?

The tires on there must be pretty bulky or your Tahoe must be dropped like road1will asked.

I have 24's on my 2007 and they have plenty of room. There is alot of people even with 26's.

When I first put the 24's on they did rub a little, but that was only like the first few days. After that they smoothed out the area where they rubbed...hehehe

i put mt old 23's from my 03 tahoe on my 08 ltz rubed in one spot and after a few day good to go and the tires was a 305/40/23 same as a 305/35/24. plus my rims where a +25mm offset on a 10 inch rim. they call for a 30mm

i have 24's on mine and i'm good. it's a 24x10 with a +18 offset. they stick out in the front a little bit but no rubbing with a 295/35 tire.

I have 305/35/24 tires, I did some looking and it appears that the offset has changed on the new design.

It was hitting on the inside when turned left, and also on the front valance when turned right. (tested the drivers front) I do have to say that my front end appears to be slightly lower than some others I have seen that appear more level.

It is not even close, if I were to hit a bump while turning it would tear the inner fender lining out.

The offsets for 07+ Tahoe's and Yuk's are totally different then previous generations.

Might need to space them? I don't entirely understand what is wrong by your description "doesn't come close to clearing" ?

Guys I put some 24 inch rims on my 07 Yukon, Running 295/35/24 Size Tires with no rub what-soever. But when Im driving it causes the steering wheel to shake and rattle. Has anyone experienced this problem...Please help, Im new here...I want a smooth ride, and it rides rough also...Give me some pointers please.

Yeah you are def. having an Offest problem like Conor said, the offsets are completely different and it may not fir your new Tahoe!
