From what I understand you would need the 88-98 to fit you 99 Tahoe, but we are sold out of the 88-98s. I'm sorry about that, Im going to check with a few people to make sure that you wont need the 99-02 and will get back to you no later than tomorrow.

You are correct in your understanding. The 88-98 hood fits the 91-99 Tahoe and the 99-02 hood fits the 00-06 Tahoe.
