hi all,
i always read from this forum and its helpful..
i install kenwood dnx9140 on my Yukon 2008 SLT, my can with Bose system and rear DVD monitor

dnx9140 it works great ...
i have 3 issue

os-3bose the amplifier works great and sound is good but The door chimes and audible turn signal indicators did not work ,
i follow the instruction on the
os-3bose installation manual ,
as the manual no The CM-X is not needed for Yukon Denali ,
i assume my car same as Denali because my car with factory bose system.
even the cm-x not with the os-3bose package .. :(

is there any wiring for the door chimes i need to take care of

also the sound of the microphone is not clear ? where i should put the mic

check the location i put it in the red circle

The door chime/turn indicator/warning chime is a known issue. they should have told you about it when you bought the Kenwood. Personally I don't miss the chimes.

The microphone should be okay there but perhaps you can move it to the top of the steering column.

Did you try to use the OEM remote control to turn the overhead unit off?

I'll be doing the exact same head unit in my Denali in a week or two.

i had problems with my door chimes and turns signals not working when i installed my audio equip. after taking it to my guy, he just switch the channel on the amp. I have a crunch amp running my voice and it has a knob on the side to switch the channles and the rear dvd moniter is always on i noticed that whenever i put a new cd in the disc player but when i turn it off with the factory remote it doesn't do it anymore until i turn the truck off and get bac in. if that helps also i have the factory Nav.

YES, with newer Chevy/GM you need interface/moduel(sp?) for things like OnStar,Bose,Door Chimes, steering wheel controls etc. to work properly with aftermarket equipment...As far as the player on all the time, if it is wired to the raido you can hook up power for the DVD player to you accessory 12v power on the kenwood (RED not yellow wire is accessory). This is what i usually do, with an inline fuse as a precaution in some cases. Hope this may help. GL
