View Full Version : Is there a CAI that doesn't make it much louder?

For an 07 Denali, who makes a CAI that isn't much louder? Volant perhaps? Some of these tube and cone filter setups are awfully loud. I like my noise from the rear of the vehicle, thank you.

With any CAI you will get louder, I say just upgrade the CAI tube like I did, the Airraid Jr kit is good for that.

The Vararam Tri-power that I installed does not make it much louder. Only when you give it a heavy foot can you really tell that it is there.

I went with the Airaid Jr kit and it didn't really make it louder. I like it.

Like Nnaboy said... I think pretty much any CAI will make it louder... just the nature of the beast. HOWEVER.... this should only be when you get on it. I have a Volant CAI and under normal driving conditions, you wouldn't even know it was there. When I open it up... thats another story.
