anyone have any experience with them? looking at the model number 280. They retail 550 for a set brand new, i can get some shipping to me for 250 brand new in box. just seeing if anyone had any experience with them or not. Id love to do the job cheaper, but shit, i dont want some mock up half ass system going in my truck, id rather do it right the first time. thanks guys

I was like at the Perma-Cools, basically same set up except the Permas run 400CFM more which isn't a whole lot more.

Where the hell can you pick them up for $250? Shit, I'll take one right now and let you know how my experience is with them.

im not a big fan of my setup of the grille anymore. I want to shave off the chevy emblem and maybe do something different. its been in my head for a while, but i dont know which route to take. The hoods getting repainted since it has some "butt holing" going on. I dont like how the black comes to a point in the center of the hood either. lol sorry im picky. Ill keep the name, maybe not that font anymore tho. im hoping i can tie something from the front bumper thru the grille and up thru the hood. that would be sick.. idk yet, im still thinking. lol

while they do put out the CFM, from my use, they pull some serious current off the electrical system as well.

yea i hear ya on that. They say it Draws 12 amps single and 28 amps for dual fans. I have the big 3 done, to help that out some. I may add a second battery later in time, ill have to see how this setup goes. The alternator is also something ill be looking into shortly. Did you like flexs fans?

yes, loved them actually. But I added a Powermaster alt to it. Actually looking at a 250a for my Yukon now from XSPower. My buddy works there.

i have the flex a lite fans and they work great. you can adjust the temp for them to come on at and they dont run 100% all time. i have had them for about a year now. very quick and easy to install.
