I have an 03 Z71 Tahoe that I purchased a couple of months ago, and I cannot seem to figure out why the front 2 door speakers work fine but the rear 2 door speakers just barely have any sound coming out of them...It has a factory deck now, but I figure the guy before me had an aftermarket one because I have 2 sets of tweeters (which only the front work), and some RCAs tucked away under the dash... My XM won't work either, but I would rather get all the speakers working first.. Anyone have any ideas???

welcome to the forum first off.
I'd pull it all and recheck, he may have ripped it all out and half way re-installed it. (improperly)

maybe its just as simple as the fade maybe its faded to the front way more than the back?

Yup +1
I've seen some hack jobs, especially if someone is cutting out a aftermarket system to replace it back with the stock one... 1 They don't care b/c they are no longer using it, and 2 it's often done very quickly so a lot of short cuts are taken...

i've checked the fade, and when i put the sound to the rear you can barely hear it with the sound all the way up...

yep, I bet you will find everything works, just a connectivity issue.
