Honestly, bro. I sold my 26" U2-55's and I did NOT like the ride at all.

The ride got better with time but I bent the rims twice and thats me driving it daily for around 50 miles.

If you are going to get 26"s I would save up and get some stronger rims, but thats just IMO

Roads here in Dallas suck!

No its not the Dallas roads, U2 wheels just suck if the right amount of air is not kept in the tire (atleast 40PSI). It will bend quick with such a thin sidewall.
