Got this idea off of 02TahoeMD from his cardomain page -

"Z71 Rear Coils with 2" coil spacers from eBay seller MC Motorsports and F150 Keys and torsion bars cranked, Rancho RSX shocks - all added up got the truck almost 4" higher! .."

Sounds good to me since I can't afford the 6" Suspension kit yet.
Where am I gonna find some Z-71 Rear coils though!? And when I do this its gonna add about 4" of lift, so I guess I'm gonna get some Bilstein 5100 shocks to go with it. Any input would be great, and tell me if I'm going wrong with getting the 5100 shocks? I have 265/75/16 tires and other then that its a stock height.

You can't get 4" out of the front. Yours does not have coils, you have no need for ford keys. Just save your money to get the 6" lift

I agree with saving your money for a true 6" lift. That is kind of what I'm trying to do. It's not working out so well haha. I thought you were selling your hoe to get one with the 6.5L diesel....?

You mean the front? There'd be no reason because I have IFS in the front and not coils so I couldn't do a F-150 Key swap? Is that what your sayin?

you cant crank the front enough to get 4" out of it unless you cut off you droop stops. and your front end would HATE you if you do that, you would be replacing things often. Ford keys do nothing on an OBS unless your torsion bars are weak you can crank to the droop stops with the factory keys. The OBS do not have coils in the back they have leaf springs.

992door that wide ass stance of yours on your hoe gives it a bulldog look.. Love that. Is your cranked/lifted at all? If no do those tires rub?

i have no idea what i am doing i have not worked in the past week which is kinda putting a kink in my plans it will either be the DC lift or the RC lift

---------- Post added at 12:29 AM ---------- Previous post was at 12:27 AM ----------

i think 2.5 is a little big i would probably stick to something around 2 or so. I think spacers are fine just make sure that you check them often to make sure they have not worked their way loose

Ok nice nice. You know of any reputable affordable company that makes wheel spacers that large without being custom?

dont do wheel spacers, and a diesel conversion would be way too much work, and the 6.5 would be the last thing you wanna drop in their:Boo:

You guys save me so much money hahaha and probably save my life in the process with all my uneducated thoughts. Use to have a 6.5L 3500 Dually at work for years and years loved it, thats the reason for wanting it. If I was to spend the money and do it right I'd get a modern powerful diesel but that would probably take me a year to even do the work and get it right.

12v power for the diesel would be nice. wheel spacers are not good, it would be worse with bigger tires/wheels.
