Ok,
I just ordered my new AMP and SUB for my truck. I am replacing my factory sub with a Rockford Fostgate 8" to go back in the factory location. (Keeping it simple for now)
I also ordered a new amp to go along with it as well. My question is where do you guys have your amp's mounted?
I was thinking about welding together a bracket out of 1x1 Square tubing and bolting it using the 2 row bolt locations. Any ideas, thoughts on this?

Sweet, Is that 3/4 MDF board? And did you just screw it into the floor or did you use bolts to the seat frame?

Thats how i have mine as well. I used two pieces of 1/2 mdf stacked on top of eachother on left and right sides of the amp. Put it on the driver side so i can still fold down one of the seats and let it sit all the way down. The first piece was screwed into the floor with a lot of caution cause the gas tank was right under it, and i wasnt sure how close the tank was to the floor board. Then the amp was screwed into the bottom piece through the 2nd piece.

I flush mounted mine in the headliner.....heat is not an issue... I ducted the rear air conditioner to blow on the amps under the headliner......absolutely no loss of useful storage space!http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=128&pictureid=2174.. here are my subs! I have 1 8" L7 Kicker mounted in hand layed Fibergalass enclosures that were molded into the rear 1/4 windows.....I bought my SUV for space, so why waste it on mounting audiohttp://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/picture.php?albumid=128&pictureid=2173

Yes its 3/4 MFD, and I used angle brackets screwed to the frame, didn't want holes in the floor board. Plus Matt is right didn't wanna take a chance with the gas tank being so close to the floor board.
