i think one of the trucks came w a driver information center (DIC) that displays vitals.. i think i seen this somewhere...

I don't recall them having a DIC. Mine does not and it is an LT trim. You can get a scangauge II or something of the sort.

I think he may be talking (and poorly) about something like this in the newer body styles.

If so, they never made a "driver information center" in the old body style chevys

It came on the yukons, escalades (i believe) it has like the trip gas range etc....

well i wanted to know if anyone's every installed it on a OBS...

In my above post, I answered the question but looking back at it, I'll correct myself by saying this: While it never came from the factory with a DIC, with enough know-how, i'm sure someone could do it. Most likely if someone did do this in a OBS, you most likely wouldn't put it in the cluster as it would be a HUGE pain in the ass. But like I said, nothing is impossible!
