the only thing i think i read about that may help with that kind of thing in general is a big 3 wiring upgrade, but im not sure

but about your window sometimes stopping, thats a whole nother issue, i think

You may have a motor starting to go out.

Maybe the motor is going out on the driver side?

i thought electric motors were either on or off or intermittent... i dident know they slowed down or stopped but started when you re- applied the button... regulator?

Probably time for a new motor. Driver side usually quits first since it is the one used more than the others. Electric motors can wear overtime. The brushes wear out and can build up dust or even a glazed film that can add electrical resistance, slowing down the motor.

my passenger window in the silverado is nice and fast. But I just put a new motor in. Driver is super slow. even though it works im thinking of replacing it cause im sick of it being so slow. I can hold both switches up and the passenger will be up before the driver is even half way up.

I've pulled apart window motors, cleaned and regreased them with great results. Not sure if the case is serviceable on these trucks tho, used off ebay would be cheap tho.

Happened to me on my '00 5.3L. Replaced motor and regulator (dealer part), about $150 I think. Motor toasted out.

When I traded for my tahoe they didnt work at all, I rebuilt my rears and they are plenty fast, I bought new motors for the front and they were slow I thought it had to do with the cable system in the front
