Hey guys..i'm still not quite used to this forum...but anyhow...i am planning on getting my 2 front windows tinted to match the back. Does anyone know what percent is already on the front and any advice? Thanksss!

should already be 35% from the factory...most states have different laws...check out www.tintlaws.com...

When I had mine done they used 20% and to me it looks like it matches perfect with the rears.

Mine are done, I wanted to do the windshield but I don't want any extra attention from bored cops. When it's time for inspection every 2yrs I just pull it off get my new sticker and go right back to have it done over (less than 2hrs tintless).

niceeeee...here in indiana we dont have inspections unless you buy a car from out of state or you get pulled over.

my truck is 20% to match the back glass, but i'm going to do 35% on my future tahoe, its hard to see out 20% at night on a badly lit street. plus less of a chance of getting a tint ticket.

im sure it does. the film itself is very cheap. you're mainly paying for labor when you get windows tinted.

Do 20%. Thats what i ahve on my tahoe and it matches the rear. I think the rear may actualyl be 18%

20% will look alot better than 35%, i think the gm front glass is like 97% or 98%.

Hello newb and welcome. Look at my album, mine are tinted to match the rears. I'm from Paulding Ohio, which is just around the corner from the Ft. I've also lived in Defiance and Van Wert. My mom actually lives in fort wayne not and picked my drunk ass up at pierres after the killswitch concert a couple of weeks ago.

I was recently told that GM puts 32.5 on the rear from the factory, I plan on having 15% put on top of that in the rear and the front two done in 15% and leaving the rear factory so that I can see all the way out back there

i had mine professionally done and told them to match the front, i think they did 15%. the fronts are a little darker from the inside, but you can barely notice. but from the outside is looks identical. i love tint and have no idea how i lived without it. i live in NJ and like mentioned above, NJ= no tint at all on the front 2. it is a $55 ticket. just think of it as tint tax. NJ taxes you for everything else anyway.

the front is untinted. the rear is 18 or there abouts. from the outside, 20 will match
