Black wheels on dark blue?

Think this will look good or out of place?

I've seen a few black Tahoes with black wheels lately around town and they look real nice. Not sure if black wheels would look good on dark blue though.

I swear it's going to take me 4 years to pick some wheels.

I like black on most colors, but with dark blue there isn't much of a contrast and I'm afraid I might look like a police car (NY State Trooper cars are dark blue).

Black will look good, it's all about getting a good wheel that looks good black.

Black chrome is real hard to pull off, it often ends up looking cheap (IMO). I'm a fan of black wheels but on the blue I think you might be better off with a nice set of chrome wheels like you have above. Only problem is you dont have any other chrome on the truck so...You could definitely do black but make sure it has a chrome or stainless lip or rivets so they pop a bit.

I don't think I've seen any black chrome in the wild, only in photos where of course it's made to look good. I'll probably stay away from it though, it was more of a silly thought, but thanks for the advice.

How about if I do black wheels and then put a big yellow stripe on the side of the truck? LOL

I will have a chrome LTZ grill on the front so I'll have some chrome to go with wheels.

I haven't really considered it but I'm open for suggestions. Do you have any examples? I'm looking for 20's.


I haven't ruled out just getting a set of the regular LTZ wheels (painted or polished), but every truck around here has them so I'd like to be a little different.

I posted these in another thread and have never seen another Tahoe or Yukon with them even though they are GM accessory wheels.

and he runs lo pros on them.
