not getting any audio when playing stock dvd player??

i got 03 denali with oem dvd player and headrest monitors, i get visual but no audio. do i need headphones or something? how can i get audio through my regular speakers?

Have you changed inputs? seems like a stupid answer but you'd be suprised.

while the dvd is playing....press the input button...i think....until it says RSE on the head unit...it might be the TYPE button...i can never remember...i just press a few buttons until it comes on...lol
