My brake pedal rattles when I hit a bump, any ideas? I havent gotten around to looking under there to see if there is something I can tighten or anything.:emotions122:

Those must be some big bumps!
Loose master cylinder or booster (unlikely).
Pivot point where the pedal arm connects to the actuator rod is worn (may be a bushing there).
Brake pedal arm is pressed onto an axle tube with rolled beads. Follow the arm upwards until you see where it's attached to the tube and shake pedal side to side. If the arm wobbles on the tube remove the axle/pivot bolt, remove the pedal assembly and weld the arm to the tube.
If the whole thing, tube and all, has a lot of slop there should be a bushing (probably Nylon or some other plastic) inside the tube that's worn out.

Haha not huge bumps, it happens over even the small ones. The pedal has a lot of play in it and when I hit a bump the pedal moves up and down making a rattling noise. Thanks for the help man, this has been bugging me forever

same here. little bumps not too much, but the big ones rattle the crap out of it.

I didn't think to ask if you have them fancy adjustable pedals (for when you become a shrunken old geezer) in which case it may become more complicated :)

Nope. Just a regular peddle. Mine isn't too bad, but it annoying.

I have the adjustable ones, I'm going to get in there today and see if I can pinpoint the rattle, so we'll see.
