Haven't seen anything like this for our engines. The stock intake has a decent sized gap between the lower plenum and lifter valley to help reduce temps. The gasket between the intake runners and heads are pretty thick as well.

I would also guess having a plastic intake manifold the benefits would be negligible. I know it gets warm, but civics have metal manifolds right?

I'm thinkin' NoChrome is right. The stock gasket is plastic and thicker that this, the manifold is some kind of composite - let's call it plastic since that what it looks and feels like. If this is meant to replace the original it looks thinner to me and would probably do the opposite of what they claim. If you install it in addition to the factory gasket I don't see how it would do anything.

yeah they use an aluminum mani. i had this on all my racing hondas and it really did make a difference manifold was cold to the touch with a cold air intake after driving for a while.
