Where has everyone found the best deals online. Is my best bet still to dig through Ebay? Ive used Crutchfield in the past and felt like I overpaid. There are TONS of 'discount/warehouse/closeout' car audio sites and Im looking for a solid deal on stuff....

On some things, Crutchfield is a rip-off, but a few times I've been pricing out speakers and found them to be comparable. I've dealt with etronics.com a few times and had no problems. Maybe if you tell us what you're looking for we can help you find it.

Here is my advice for speaker shopping if your a n00b haha:
1) Go to crutchfield and "chat" with a specialist to find out exactly what you want (Model, brand)
2)Search eBay, Craigslist, everywhere else online to get a good deal on the speakers they recommend ha

My $0.02 get Alpine Type Rs, I love them in my Hoe (no homo)

Infinity is the direction I usually go on car audio. I do think JL has some 2 ohm components as well though. I know the Reference Series are 2 ohm, I wounde rin the Kappas are as well.....

I used to have two sets of XRs in my old truck and I worked for a JL dealer for years so I have heard pretty much everything as far as their current lineup (and a lot of their old stuff). The only ones I'm not a fan of are the ZR Series. Personally I would go with Hertz as my first choice, then Focal, then probably JL, but it all depends on what your price range is.

Infinity Reference speakers FTMFW!

I just ordered a set and will get pics of the install when they get here! The people over at Crutchfield were great in helping me pick out a set of Budget minded but excellent quality and sound speakers!

The infinity's are in fact 2OHM's. They were the only speakers to work with the Amp in my truck as well.
