About 3 monthes ago i purchased a Flowmaster Cat Back system for my 2008 Yukon. It is duel side exit and is a complete kit from the cat back. The kit is very easy to put together, and I have every bolt, screw and pipe, and warranty to get it on your truck in a couple of hours. The kit originally came with a 50 series muffler but i upgraded to a super 40 muffler (100$) The Kit came with 2 chrome tips but I painted them black to match the theme of my truck, but they could be taken off if you want to throw on some new ones. The kit was 400$ and the muffler was about 110$...total 500$ Looking to get about $375...What you think anyone interested??? KIT IS IN PERFECT CONDITION!!! NOTHING MISSING, OR BROKEN...LIKE NEW!!!!
System stil on my truck, just posting to see if I get any serious offers...

Reason for selling: I just miss the really really really quite stock ride. This exhaust system gives out a beautiful mean rumble outside the truck, and the cabin noise isnt unbarable, but its deff louder then the stock quitness. Their is absolutly nothing wrong with the system at all! Just something I dont want anymore, ill prob regret it after taking it off. It makes the truck sound soooo mean!
Im one of those people who buy parts, have them o my truck, and for some reason I sell them...regret it.....and buy them again. Dont ask me why...im just weird like that!

Is the 40 series louder or quieter than the 50 series? Any sound clips of it on your ride? If not, would you mind doing an in cabin (doors closed), driving and outside idle video?
I don't want something that is going to be obnoxious traveling with the family for miles.

The 40 is a bit louder then the 50, more mean sounding then anything...I just tried to take some videos but my digital camera doesnt have good enough microphone system to prject the sound of the exhaust. I will be honest with you, the exhuast outside has a really nice deep toned rumble at idle, when the car is doing regular city driving the exhuast isnt too loud it can barly be heard if you have music on, when doing highway it only get really loud when your working your way up to your desired speed as soon as you are either cruise controlling or just cruising at bout 65 70mph, and the RPMS drop, it isnt loud at all. I am not just saying this to sell it, now with this kit since it did come with the 50 series muffler originally, if u want somethign that will bring almost no cabin noise in and a little bit louder noise then stock you should deff go with the 50 series. I will sell you the whole exhuast kit if you want minus the muffler for 300, and you can buy a 50 series SUV performance muffler ofr about 85$....or you can buy my whole kit 375 obo, try it out and if its to loud change out the muffler and sell the 40 series. Mufflers are easy to sell, ive sold 3 used muffers on this forum alone in less then a week. Lets do business, feel free to ask any ?s
