Headlights do not turn off automatically

I have a 2005 tahoe that the headlights no longer turn off automatically when you pull the key out. They will stay one for 10 minutes unless I turn them off by using the switch in the car.

Has anyone else experienced this and what was the fix?

have you tried changing the settings on the cpu in the truck?
