Dome Light assembly

Has anyone ever replaced the rear dome light assembly with the center dome light assembly? On my 99’ the rear one is really old looking and out dated. I’d love to get a junk yard one and install it.

Dont see why not. Connection and bolt holes should be the same. Only thing I would worry about is having the new dome light assembly being the same size or larger than the older one.
