Brake Upgrade

Being new to this forum, let me say that everything I have read in the tech section is awesome - nice write-ups.

Now my question: I recently purchased an 06 PPV Z56 from a Police Auction and want to upgrade the brakes. I know it already has the dual-piston calipers, but will these work if I try the 07 upgrades you guys have been writing about. Or, will I need to get 07 calipers and brackets as well.

Is there anywhere else to get these parts, other than the stealer?

So, I have to get a different size dual piston caliper - and brackets?

Also, what kind of rotors/pads did you go with? I am hearing a lot of different opinions on drilled vs. drilled and slotted, so opinions are appreciated here. This is a big investment.
