Rattling windows

Hi All I have a 02 Yukon XL its a great vehicle, but there is a annoying problem. When the driver and passenger side windows are down they rattle when you hit a bump in the road. When they are past half way up or all the way up they are fine. What is the fix for this? Thank you in advanced

Why don't you find out yourself? Remove the door panel and then roll down the window like you said and then just gently bang on the door and see where the rattle is? :)

It's a known issue with our trucks. You'll just have to pull the door panel and see where it's coming from.

I have the same problem. I am not sure what it is, but this weekend I planned on pulling off my door panels and using some rust inhibitor inside of them. If i figure it out I will let you know .:)

Thank guys, I have to install new side view mirrors this weekend, so I will do the same and pull the door panels also and report back

I did find out what was the cause, it was the one of the window regulator 10 mm mounting bolts that came loose

i have the same problem. gonna have to open it up and look for that bolt!
