So I'm sure that just like yourselves, I often spot what seems to be outstanding deal on my local CL listings and less often on ebay.

But it seldom seems worthwhile to start a thread on each and every one ...

So i thought it would be a good ideal to have a long running thread that peeps can just post deals as they see them. Plus it's a good way to keep track of what can be gotten for what price.

This is not to pimp your own listings, so if it is something you're selling post it on the 'for sale' section.

Also, since CL and ebay listings eventually disappear from view, please note what it is that is for sale and what they are asking for it, that way posters can make sense of it long after the link has died.

Anyhoot, seemed like a good enough idea to try.

If you have the Bose system then im about 95% sure it will work with your vehicle. You could always call and ask the guy if he could give you the part number. I would totally buy this but I dont have the Bose so it wont work with mine. 350 is really cheap those things for anywhere from 600-900 on ebay.

by re-configure they mean reflash or program...yes it has to be done...different dealerships charge different amounts so check around before you take it to get programmed. And I agree with edgaranah1, i am sure this will work with your system as long as you already have the bose system...

I too think he's full of B.S. why post an ad saying 1000 then when I ask him what price he's looking to get he immediately jumps up to 1600. In that case he should've just put 1600 to begin with... I live like 6-7 hours from Dallas but would've been willing to drive there for them. 1600 for someone in town over there would still be a good deal.

That's an okay deal as he lists them, especially because of the work involved in getting this done. But it looks like he's not including ballasts, harnesses, and bulbs ... if that's the case you can add a couple of hundred bucks to get that to work. However if he is including all that and neglected to list them, it's a very good deal. :)

yeah not sure what he is including, but the hid kit, isnt much, unless you want a real one. lol. But not too bad, never even knew a local place near me, did this type of work.

Chevrolet LQ4 6.0 short block engine - $375
This is good rebuidable Chevrolet 6.0 LQ4 short block. It is std bore and did not turn any bearings on the mains or rod journals. It is clean and not rusty and turns over smoothly. We also pulled the cam to make sure it did not spin any cam bearings. The crankshaft is the 2215 cast number. Stk# 36789

Sounds like a good deal from the prices ive seen for 6.0, but im not that knowledgeable yet on engines. But if i had the cash laying around. Id build me one.

I can actually speak for him on that one. I know for a fact that he doesn't have it anymore because I bought it. Maven is somebody I know. When that listing was put on here, and I saw he was the seller, I sent him a message to his phone via Google Talk. I don't know why he didn't respond to your messages. That would have been respectful. My experience in dealing with him is that is not common for him. He's somebody I have lots of respect for because of how he typically treats people. I hope you'll accept my apology for him.

I believe so, that's what I've been told in the past, except of course it won't match the stitched platinum version but those come with the dvd standard anyway.

Ryan, you can actually find those for even cheaper a lot of times ... the reason is that so far as I've noticed no one who doesn't have this option to begin with has managed to make it work on their trucks. At least not without spending a great deal of effort and money to do so. But as always, I could be mistaken. :shrug:

Esky third brake light, i bought mine from a guy on ebay his handle is "ntftakeoffs" without the quotes of course, i paid 149.00 for mine that was brand new, dark blue just have to paint it, 25.00 shipping i thought wasnt bad, came in a few days and it was definately brand new. i would recommend this guy to anyone, i think he has a few others available

cheap but not as good . . . thats simular if not the same thing i have in

my truck and it really sucks cuz i cant't see anything . . . the biggist

issue is the amount of tint i have on my windshield but like i said my bulbs

are close if not the same man . . . but they would proly stand out reall good

for your's if you got low tint . . . i would just save my money and get the

reall thing . . . just thought i would throw my oppinion out there

better than HID. To quote Serge indirectly.. dont do HIDs unless you are going to do them right with a retro-fitted projector. I have them and I want a retrofit bad, top of the mod list for me. I think you'd be happy with these in the meantime. heck, for $40 shipped for 2 sets of bulbs really is not a bad deal at all!

Nope. This is not correct. They are 2 different bulbs.

Edit: Just looked at these 2 bulbs. They are very similar in design. Most notable difference is the plug design. The contacts are closer together on the H11 than they are on the 9006.

For brand new I'd say that is a great deal!!

I hate when they drench them with water prior to taking a pic like that. I would much rather see them in their natural state rather than soaking wet.

Yeah, Robbie sells the CK375's for a little higher than that and I think normally the Esky rims go for even higher than what Robbie sells his for. I'd bet that if put on eBay those Esky rims would go for $3k or more :shrug: Maybe I'm over valuing them, though....

Actually regular esky 22s like those are routinely up for sale in my neck of the woods for less than $2k, and that's with tpms.

The fact that so many peeps take these and denali 20s off so frequently makes them worth a little less.

Especially since both those rims have no oem replacement caps for other brands ... so, small demand, high supply ... :shrug:

Yes, IMO $800 for those are a good deal assuming they're in good shape and no pitting :waytogo: nice purchase! :D I don't know anything about Nexen tires, though.

He has reposted it with some other pics and yes he did correct it. I hope someone gives her a new home. It is a nice truck with only minor wear. Not my flavor or I would maybe add her to my fleet but I can't take away from the Hoe or Mustang.

Thanks for the head up, just won the auction. Came out to $112 plus the $28 shipping. Paint is free since my buddy owns a paint shop. Any idea on how much these usually sell for? Seemed like a good deal to me.

Think about it. Just a standard red 2 piston rear caliper. The 6s front setup is really nice, but then they pair it with a stock looking 2piston rear caliper in red. Just doesn't make sense to me aesthetically. :(
