A/C Won't Stay On!

I have a 2007 LTZ and when I press the A/C button, the light blinks 3 times and goes off. A/C will not go on. Anybody know what the deal is with this?

is it in defrost position? if so the a/c compressor already is activated for that mode...turn to vent and try to turn it on then.

there is probably some sort of electrical problem. I havent seen any other posts on this kind of problem. I would take it to a deal to work it out.

Do you have the engine running?

neg eandj23...mine does it too whenever it's in the defrost mode. my 99 did it too.

I had a 4runner before the yukon. The same thing happened to me...the a/c light would flash but no cold air. Turned out to be a relay in the main fuse box in the engine bay. Might check that.

i actually have a similar problem. if i want to have the "inside air" on WITHOUT THE A/C ON it blinks 3 times and nothing. what if i dont want to run the a/c but the car in front of me stinks......why cant i close the vents and run inside air only without the a/c on????

PLEASE HELP
