Usually a sign of poor power connection to the brake module like dirty, loose or corroded terminal/wire.
Can't you NBS/NNBS guys do anything on diagnostics on your own instead of just mods? Luck for you the OBS cave of bats is really asleep tonight that I had to troll over hear for some blood.

Chip. This is the part I was thinking of, and yes, a replacement is pricey, but a repair is very affordable. Check absfixer and module master, both can repair your EBCM for ~$150. Also, you can remove it and continue to drive your truck with no adverse side effects while the repair is being performed. You should have everything ready to go w/in a week or so.
I believe one of those guys may even be able to sell you a warranted unit at a decent price to replace yours before you remove it.
