I have been looking at possibly getting some 20's or 22's for my wifes's 07 tahoe. I am not sure what to get. I like the look of the stock LTZ 20's as in how they are not a dish type wheel. I also like the 22's that are on escalades. My main goal is to find a size/look as the escalades, but of course not the same style. Point me in the right direction.

I would if I could, but I am so out of the wheel scene now, it aint even funny.

So you want after market wheels that have the same type look as the OEM?

Shaggy
04-30-2009, 05:24 PM
Yep, not the dish looking ones, but the ones that are flush, like the escalades in 22's.

I've got a set of LTZ wheels for sale from when I changed wheels. Only 2900km no curb rash. $400.

Hmmm, damn but your in Canada, thats one hell of a drive or shipping cost :(

DofD

Yeah, the shipping costs would be nasty on those wheels. Though I could check into it if you want.

What zip code? As the shipping tools need one for their calculations.

Just the wheels or are the tires included?

DofD

It's just the wheels. The tires and TPMS were transferred over to my summer wheels.

You're crazy... that's still a HELL of a deal for just the wheels. I've seen them sell for 1k+...

For shipping. Look into Forward Air. They work with customs as well. I can ship a set of wheels from California to Michigan for 180-200$ on a pallet

Until I get home and can weigh and measure them, the estimate would be about $69 per wheel or about $276 for all 4 to Phoenix. Also remember the prices are Canadian $$$.

Have you considered the 22" Silverado SS wheels? You can get replica S wheels in polished or silver finish in a 22" for fairly cheap. Gives a Tahoe a very unique and sporty look without looking overdone.

How are you planning on shipping them? All 4 on a pallet? 4 individual boxes? Just curious as I might be shipping mine out to Canada as well

I was thinking of doing 4 individual boxes, then I could pack them to keep them from getting banged up while enroute.

I just shipped a set of 24" Momo Storms that were on my old Escalade accross the country a few months back. It is going to make your life easier to pack the 4 boxes on a pallet and shrink wrap it. I shipped mine Yellow Frieght and they picked it up from my business and that it could not have been easier.

Yeah, it surprised me too. I would have thought they would have taken longer to sell. He called this morning about them, then phoned back to come look at them. He arrived and had the cash in pocket. People with their tax return money I guess.

See I like that flush style. Looks bad as compared to the dish look.

I will take a look at the SS wheels and see if I can find some used or at a good price. Right now I can't afford it, but will be able to someday :)

I wouldn't go above 22's. I just but 24's on with 305/24/35. There is a little rubbing on tight turns. I probably have to trim some of the plastic, just haven't had the chance.

I won't go any higher then 22". Your style looks pretty damn good.

I don't know if this discussion is still open, and I know I am a little late to the scene, but I wanted to give my two cents. I purchased the GM 22 inch wheel/tire package from gmpartsdirect.com. Their shipping is a bit much, but the wheel/tire prices were excellent at the time. I sold my 20 inch factory wheels to a couple in California. From Ohio to California the shipping on the mounted factory wheels and tires from UPS ran about 90 bucks each so around $360 total to ship. Each mounted wheel and tire weighed around 80 lbs.

does anyone know if the 22" Trailblazer SS wheels fit the 07+ bolt pattern? i traded in my TB SS for my wife's 1LT. it needs wheels bad, so i figured the 22" replica might be a nice tribute.
