Hi, newb here! Just made the transition from that other site. Anyhow... I have an 01 Yukon w/3" DJM rear springs & the front turned down. Yesterday I go out & the rear is about 2" lower than usual. Actually touching the stock stops. I figured the springs might just be settling? I drove it later & its back up about 2-3 inches. WTF! I am figuring the valving on the stock shocks is shot and when they cool down it settles down. Any thoughts? Sorry so long.

You could be right you may need new shock.
Do you have Autoride to makesure the feature is not screwing with something?

Sorry, no autoride. Also never had shock extenders for about 1 yr. Been running the stock big blacks. Who makes the best drop shox?

get the Bilstein, if you have shock relocators, just get stock size.

Don't have shock extenders. I'd rather not buy them and shocks, just shorter shocks. I'll look a couple of places.

for the best ride and travel get extenders and stock length shocks.

yep, you'll pay more for just shorter shocks. Shock extenders can be had fairly cheap.
