This morning my truck starts to grind and shake the truck. I stop but it still contiues. putting it in park or nuetral doesnt make the sound and it doesnt sound like anything seized up. To me (a none mechanically inclined) it seemed like the transmission. But I have no clue. Any ideas?
Update: I will probably have to be replacing or at least rebuilding my transmision:mad: On the old TF site there was some info on rebuilding the transmision and making it "Heavy duty". Any body have any input??

Sounds like the transmission. You have several options or rebuilding it. You can buy a rebuilt one that is beefed up and put it in there or buy a kit and rebuild your current one. Talk to a transmission shop they should be able to help you out. Do you still have reverse?

you could build it up to a 65 but there are also other options. This is one of the companies that does this. I have no clue if they are good or not but this is just to show you what they do. There are also different levels.
