So when you take the plastic trim off the bumper, there seems to be many small holes around the perimeter of the bumper. Im wondering, for anyone who has seen them in person, are they small enough to fill with bondo? I want to take the trim off my bumper and paint it black, but I don't want all of the holes....
Thanks, Dan

they need to be welded up, man. bondo will crack. it might be easier, if funds allow, to buy a smoothie from ckresto.com

or you could try and find one off of a work truck

Yah, dont try and fill those holes. Painting chrome never works either. You will be much better off buying a paint to match bumper.

Get a quality replacement and have it painted with Urethane/Clearcoat. You won't be sorry.

Front Bumper (http://www.pershingauto.com/new-front-black-bumper-198898-chevy-gmc-truck--suburban-tahoe-.html)
Front bumper and it only has the holes for the license plate holder. For $89 its a good deal. If you look up Pershing Auto Body on ebay they usually run a sale on various parts. That same bumper from them on ebay was only $70 plus $35 shipping if I remember correctly.
