lighted head light dash switch

went to junk yard and i been curious about why don't the

dash headlight switch don't light up or i was going to

find away to do so well i found a 97 tahoe and it had the

light switch laying in the back seat so took it apart

guess what?

there was a bulb in it never seen this type before just use a small

small screw driver to turn it and pull it out. i will find out what size

bulb this is and then i will take mine apart to see if mine have a

bulb in it.

It is a NEO4 size bulb. And yes your headlight switch will also have it.

Quick question on the headlight switch.. Does that light stay on allll the time? no matter if the headlights or running lights arnt on? mine is. something wrong?

LoL that is a good question! I think it turns on once u flip the parking or headlights on. Haha I will look at it once it gets dark.

I stole an escalades light switch to match my gauges.. its freaking on at nite and shit when im cruising with no lights.. ( i have no DRLS by the way)... but you should be able to tell me Haks. thanks

It stays on.

Makes sense, you wouldn't have to be searching for a light switch in the dark.

but still, thats gayer then aids.. i want my damn dash dark. lol what a waste.. maybe we could tap into some type of wire for that to turn on and off with the lights...

does it stay on if you pull the DRL fuse? i don't recall mine being on anymore other than when the lights are on. (then again i don't usually stare at it either)

idr. i think it was on, but it might not have been. my DRL fuse is back in tho. it was my attempt to fix my mirror not remembering to stay on. Pulled the diode instead.

i dont have DRLs since its a 95, but is deff on when i drive around all day, you can tell more so at night (obvious) lol check it out.

went and looked.

mine comes on and stays on as soon as you start the truck. never really noticed as it looks like the bulbs in mine are about burnt out. nice and dim.

i have a good perk for once i find out that superbrights l.e.d

is 20 min from where i stay. i called them to see if they have
public store they don't but he said just order online and call

them for me to pick up so i want have no shipping charge.

so i splurge a little on the l.e.ds sinse saving on shipping.

what bulbs did you use? i will do all white l.e.ds
