TYF needs a LOGO!!

TYF needs a logo! Let's give some input into how this should look?

I always liked something like this:

But maybe do it in the outline of a Tahoe? I say Black background, smurf blue writing (for those who are part of the crew).

I am a Graphic Designer as my main job assid from selling tires and wheels online.. i will sketch some things up today in free time.. a Tahoe needs to be in the logo.. i have some ideas.. needs to be more than just a script

yea i can go by our vinyl guy and see what shades and take a picture so people can see.. i figure people want either white or a dark gray. for they guys that are trying to be stealth.. see what others think of it... the stroke of the bottom font may need a tad thickining for it to actually be able to be cut.. but this would help people find each other lol....

When the time comes i can have a bunch cut depending on how many people want them once a final is chosen

Alright guys i have about 1,800 some odd fonts on my computer and i like them all so if people have any suggestions of a font they think may look cool ill throw it in and see how we like it..

I take criticism all day long from clients so my feelings are not hurt...

is there a style that people are thinking.. modern. or an art grafiti style or what??? thow it out and ill make liek 5 options and post asap

Keep it clean. A lot of us are older folks and I personally wouldn't want graffiti lettering on my rig. :)

both.. i am the only designer for my company if that sais something.. then i have a side company i do designs (select customers only what i want to do) and photography (weddings, wake boarding & auto racing "red bull") and have a tire and wheel online company with a buddy.. working on getting us as one of the vendors on here... i have my hand in multiple pockets..

hmm... gonna go against the grain here. How about the bottom one, but see if we can get the lettering to follow the bottom of the tahoe and the wheel wells. Like the A in Tahoe would be overextended to create the wheel well, maybe the A and H, and then the CO on COM would make the rear one... just a thought, if u follow me?

Thanks the cool thing about how i have it setup too is its a mask so any font you find you wanna try takes me 10 seconds to install and 10 more to mock up.. throw it on my server an have you a demo in less than a minute.. so if you find a font you like or a color then lemme know and ill patch one together.

I would like to point something out since Eco and i were just talking about this. And this is purely aesthetic opinion based on the way a logo should be viewed socially BUT.. the point in putting TYF in the logo is all about scale ability .. If you put the abbreviation in a font size or confusion similar to the link.. then it shouldnt be there.. the point in putting the abbreviation is to draw attention to the name.. something a tiny link wont do.. its a puller...

So the option is to do TYF .. ALOT bigger than the link.. or not at all.. the not at all option doesnt work with this logo though in my opinion because the actual image is so large that by the time you put it on there big enough to be able to read the link.. its gonna be HUGE..

So regardless of style or design.. it needs to have the link on it.. AND a readable from afar abbreviation "TYF". I think both of those aspects have to be part of the design.. unless we go back to a pure font logo like the last set we did.
