What HID kit does everyone think is the best, I'm leaning toward the 8000k kit's for that little extra blue tint? I have a 2007 Tahoe LT, thanks for any help

DDM Tuning and Xentech make good kits.

ok thanks, do most people buy the kit for high beams also, or just the low beams? How are the kits for the fog lights? Thanks for the help

Mainly low bemas only. High beam HIDs are a waste of money because they will burn out dut to the flash feature, and plus most don't use their high beams!
Fog light HIDs are ok too, you can do that but get them from www.hidguy.net (the 5202 kit) for a better price. I modded LEDs in my fogs and like them alot, it was cheper than HIDs and since they don't get hot or burn out, I have them on all the time!

I run 6k in my lows and 3k in the fogs..for me it is the best of both worlds as the yellow fogs really cut through the inclement weather and work great when it is snowing too...Got mine from www.spencershids.com top notch customer service and product.

How bright are your fog light leds?

I have 6k in the lows only.

Not really a need for the high beams, better investment of cash in other mods.

I got mine from fellow board member jazejeff (http://shopcustomcreations.com/)

They are bright but the light beam is completly useless.
As you may know, LEDs are at most times brighter than incandescent. but because they have horrible patterns they are just bright and cool looking. Basically said, on looking cars can easily see them night or day while driving in the opposite lane or looking from anywhere in the exterior, but they won't see any beam on the ground, wall or anything else.
Mine match the 6k HIDs in my lows, pics are in ther Photo section in one of my older threads.
