If folks want spare modules the prices are as follows:
$60 - 98-00 Vortec
$100 - Gen-III
$160 ECM / $60 TCM - Gen-IV Trucks and SUVs

**We will need to ship out the modules before the meet for people to install them and perform the security relearn prior to being tuned.

**If folks purchase spare computers, we will perform the crank relearn on all 99+ vehicles.

**Any tune updates need to be scheduled directly with Justin prior to the meet by email justin@blackbearperformance.com.

Since you vehicle is a 6 speed, there are no replacement TCM modules. If you are concerned about having the ability to switch your computers back to your stock tune, the best option would be the AutoCal, and since you are having your vehicle tuned in person, the AutoCal price is reduced to $259. With the AutoCal, we are able to send you your stock tune via email. Check out www.blackbearperformance.com for more details on this option.

After a BB tune do I have to do anything esle like the security relearn or is it all handled at the time of tune? Assuming I only have you tune the ECM/TCM in the vehicle.

Nothing else for you to do, unless you are wanting to purchase the AutoCal to be able to swap back and forth to stock.

send in the deposit ryan, you wont regret it. Like jenna said nothing is needed to be done unless you for some reason want to go back to stock. But once tuned you wont want to go back..

I would, but we are taking the Tahoe. We are driving out to Florida to take the family to Disney World, got to get on the road by 8:00am and I get off shift at the fire station at 7:00am.

We usually make the decision about one month prior to the scheduled meet. If we don't receive enough deposits by then, we have to make the decision as to whether or not we will make the meet a go. The reason for needing them by one month out is because Justin needs to purchase his flight and hotel. Once he purchases his flight, that will also determine how many timeslots we will be able to have.

Justin hasn't chosen his hotel yet. The tunes will start at his hotel. We usually get the timeslots and location out ~2 weeks prior to the meet.

It shouldn't be a problem for Sat, but we can't make any promises. Haley sends out time slot info and it is first come, first serve for time requests. Just make sure you check the email that you sent your deposit from.

And i believe time slots are first come first serve. So if you dont mind being later, i doubt it being a problem on saturday.

I believe haley will be emailing people once they get a place figured out and will email to those that put a deposit in and to the email they provided and at that time will ask about what time slot you would like. Also, think it is first come first serve, so as soon as you see that email, email her back with your time you would like.

For contacting them, you can pm jenna on here, or pm haley or email her, the email is in the first post. Here is a email i have tuning@blackbearperformance.com. You can ask your questions to that email.

For what parts you need, only your truck. Unless you want to do any mods yourself to your truck before hand, but otherwise , just you and your truck.

We haven't determined a deadline yet, but once we do decide to close it, there is no notice, so it is best to get your deposit in if you are thinking about it.

Timeslots will be sent via email about 2 weeks prior to the meet, to the email addresses that were used to send the deposits. At that time, all of the timeslots will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. The security relearn is only for folks who purchase spare modules. Justin will take care of everything for you at the time of the meet.

I see you are going to be in Dallas - when? I sent an email to Justin. I'm flying down (Aug 24th) to pick up a stock 99 Tahoe in Houston area (too bad - I see you were there recently.) Anyhow, will drive back to Michigan. I want to see if there's anything I can do to this vehicle to get better mpg on the trip back and for the life of the vehicle. What can you do by way of a tune to help that out? Any mods you can recommend? Thanks. D
