Yes they can be modded to fit. I had to. The only difference is that there is the hinge of the door tucks behind the tail light. When I modded mine all I had to do was cut out the reverse light space. Which made no difference because the guy that I bought them from had them painted, so the reverse light was red. I'll post some pics when I get a chance.

Im interested in this too. I really like the LED tails with the reverse light at the bottom, but they don't fit the BD models. When you mod the housing are you deleting the reverse lights? Thats no big deal to me since I have two 55w aux lights hooked up to my trailer wiring harness, so they come on when the truck is in reverse. It would satisfy DOT requirements even if the ones in the tails didn't work.

I know Tast, I just don't like those particular ones as well as the ones that have the reverse light at the bottom. If there is a way to make the ones I like work with barn doors, then I'd like to hear it.
