View Full Version : Efan mileage increase
I'm getting over 1mpg improvement and drive much faster than usual. Took a small trip and saw 18mpg with the cruise set at 85, few blips to 100. I got 12/16 stock and feel I could net 15/20 if I stopped driving fast. Too bad this thing sounds awesome running through 3rd wide open or I'd save some money, it'll probably get worse once I get the blower. Highly recommended mod for $300.

That's about what I saw when I did mine, about 1-1.5 mpg increase.

It's hard for me to tell since I started running E85 the same weekend I did the instal but my truck is noticably more powerful and my AC is sub-arctic even at idol for long periods and in AZ where it's been 110+ for most of July that alone is worth it. I will get a better read on the MPG increases this winter when I don't have th AC on all the time and my truck is not being pushed to the limits by high temps. Tahoe no likey 115+ w/ac driving in the city......even with e-fans.

When we meet up on monday for the intake, I'll have to check out your setup. This is one of the next things on my list. Any time in particular work for you? I'm off all day.
Morning is probably better, though I may have a late night Sunday. Just hit me up around 8 or 9.

Shit man I never realized you were in C town, I grew up near Toledo. If you woulda caught me a few years back before I moved to Colorado, we could have met up at Cedar Point or something...massive Great Lakes TYF get together at the point...that would have been badass.

Haha yeah back then I still had my rice rocket hon-duh. I actually worked as a cop a Cedar Point for a season, I got in free whenever I was off duty. Those were the good old days...haven't been there since, though.
I still fly home with the wife and kids occasionally to see my family, maybe if there is a great lakes meet we could drive out for it.
