All the mods I've done to my truck, yet today I just barely got around to removing the side molding finally. I also washed, clayed a few spots, stripped the old wax, hit it with some 3M compound, then waxed and detailed it. I took my buffer with me to the carwash around the corner and plugged it into my power inverter and went away at my truck. People were looking at me crazy with my extension cord coming out of my truck buffing away at the 'hoe. Here are some pics:

Damn, I wish it was 83 here. I hate these 100+ degree days. Our lows here aren't even as low as your highs!

Looks damn good man - I thought it looked good when I just washed that mofo.

Talk about Texas heat.....I was raised in Texas since I was 3 yrs old just to give you an idea of where I am coming from here....

While JK was working on my alarm, I washed his truck. I say I washed his truck because before I moved on to mine, I almost had a gdamn heat stroke. A short time later, JK walked into his house to find my ass spralled on the floor face up with the fan on high soaking wet.

Did I leave a carpet stain?

OMG its like the coldest summer ever. But we had the warmest winter ever at 75 average even in december and january. We had like a week of below freezing weather, then it was 80s. Its nice in teh winter, but SUCKS in the summer. Its not warm enough to have water feel good when you jump in. I have only been water skiing once and we usually go all the time, but it really feels cold when your skiing.

Looking good. I'm not doing mine till winter maybe. I'll never do it during summer unless I can pull into a garage. I still need to do my roof. I hate when I wash it and everything looks nice and sparkly etc the roof. Water beads up every except the roof. ehhhh.

So that's where that stain came from. I thought one of my girls spilled something, haha. Man, it was hot as hell that day.

We've set 6 new record highs last month and seven new record highs this month so far. We've only had four days under triple digits in the last 30 something days. Right now it's 96* @ 10:20pm. Yay. Damn I can't wait for December. It should start cooling down by then....

Yes...that thing looks soooo clean! The heat has been no joke....I think the high here was like 110 day before, glad I'm back on nights!!! LOL The building I work in still averages 96, that's with fans, and A/C blowin full blast, so it's a lil cooler at night!

ya this heat is retarded, especially in attics, 105 on the ground feels great after crawling out of an attic. I think Iraq was still worse, even it was dry heat, when it's 130, it doesn't matter if it's dry, when there's a breeze, it's not even refreshing, it's like a blow dryer in your face...but this humidity sucks, straight up

sorry..little off topic there...the hoe still looks good since the last time I said it lol

Looks good. I like the way that looks.... not to fond of removing the side moldings on the NNBS, but on your NBS it looks good.

removing the side panels on a GMT 800 looks fantastic. On a 900 it looks wierd. I think its because the door is perfectly smooth on an 900 and still has the indentation on an 800.

You are so right, thats why I don't want to remove mine, not only does it takeaway protection it makes the ruck look naked!!

Byt he way, JK and Max its about time you'll lay frame!!
