Fake chrome coming off?

On my inside (drivers side) door handle the fake chrome is peeling off. I'm assuming I have to buy a new handle. Does anyone know where the best place to get one is?

I wonder how you made it peel as it is not a very common happernning.
I suggest aking it to the dealer for warranty replacement if you are still in warrantty, if not, go to www.gmpartsdirect.com

Factory. I have 40k so my warrenty is over. I guess I need to purchase a new handle. I'm not sure why it is peeling off :confused:

they were peeling on my Yukon when i bought it, luckily i had a warranty.

Apparently the inside handles are junk. I have heard of this happening a couple of times. I have even heard that when the chrome peels it can be sharp enough to cut you wide open.

Can you sand them down and paint them? I'm just trying to throw out an idea to save you some money.
