I'm friends with the guy who had this app made... it's a "social networking" car enthusiast app.

The more people in your area, the more events people may make, mark cops on a map, construction, exotic sightings... it's pretty cool. iPhones only right now, but the droid is in the works.

I made a club, "Tahoe Yukon Forum"

I'm hoping it'll help spread the word if people make their events on the app itself.

Not me, I have a 3GS... try rebooting your phone. When you don't want it to broadcast your location, close the app (aka hit the home button to go to the home screen. Double click the home button so there are 4 apps that show up on the bottom. Hold down the app until they start shaking and the red minus shows up. Hit the minus, hit the home button). This also should free up the resources it may be using on your phone.

Yeah to free up resources I have sbsetting thank you. Might be a conflict with another app. I'll try downloading it again.

It's hard to get a lot of people to use it, but when you start getting an area to use it, hopefully it'll take off.
