Well, here are the results since the s/c install. I finally went through a few full tanks of normal driving to get an estimate on fuel mileage with the s/c.
The results didn't seem right at first so I ran through another couple full tanks and got the same results.
Before the s/c, I was avg'ing about 14-15mpg with exhaust, cai, BB tune, and these 24's that weigh 90lbs ea. I was getting an avg of about 300-320 miles per tank before I would fill back up with about 19-20 gallons, mixed city/hwy.
Currently with the s/c (under normal driving conditions), I get about 400 miles per tank, which equates to about 20mpg. I did this through 3 full tanks with the same results. I expected a gain of about 1-2 mpg since the engine doesn't have to work as hard with the s/c, but definitely not the huge gain I'm seeing now. Of course if I'm on it, gas gets guzzled 10 times worse than w/o the s/c. But it's amazing the gain I get when I'm driving it like the avg person.

10,000 miles @ 15mi/gal = 666 gallons fuel
10,000 miles @ 20mi/gal = 500 gallons fuel
At $3/gal that's approximately $500 for each 10k miles that you save
So it pays for itself in 100,000 :hands: :hands: :hands:
BOSS - plans on driving 100k more with a SC

Man I want one.... I'm getting 15-17 and that was before the e-fans went in yesterday..... I should be hitting a solid 16-17 in the city now and in the winter I should be hitting a solid 18 once the AC goes off. I could be looking at 20+MPGs with the SC..... a man can dream.
Someday.......someday.

Blizzard - You also have a 6.0L AWD. JK has a 2wd 5.3L... I was totally prepared to spend the extra dough for the Denali, but I choked when I saw the estimated MPG's... I had to go with the 5.3L

how hard is it to make a denali awd into 2wd with the 6.0???

I didn't want to post mine because I thought I was doing the math wrong and it seemed too good to be true, also, I haven't driven it enough and constantly to get an accurate reading. My math was telling me I was getting 17mpg before and jumped to 22 after. I drove it like I stole it for the first 2 weeks after I got mine and retuned but haven't smashed the skinny that much since. So, based on what JK is getting and what I calculated, it must be about right then.. I did get 400+ miles per tank when I went to California 2 weeks ago and I did hit the gas hard a few times when the damn semi's cut me off and slowed me down.. Mine has the 4.8 so I don't know if it would make much of a difference..

Dude thats some nice mpg....if only I had S/C money lol!
When you say 90Ibs with the 24s thats wheel and tire right, I was doing that math the other day wondering how much I would drop with 24s wheel and tire at about 90Ibs too, I know the stock are 75Ibs so it can't be that bad!

Yea, both wheel and tire. It's about avg for 24s, but it hurts performance.

Yeah but the .5 in displacement might bite me in the ass.. I wanted to make a post earlier but with the numbers I came up with, I didn't want to look like a fool either so I was hoping someone else would come by and post something similar to justify mine. Glad you did.
Looks like I'll be coming to Dallas in first week of august but it's not set in stone.. I'll keep you and BOSS posted.. Right now I'm running a 3.73 posi.. I was looking into the U255 wheels, they are 80lbs with tire, that alone can make a big difference.. Those and the BOSS 330 are some of the lighter wheels around..

Depends on which system/finish you want. They have retail prices at www.magnacharger.com but if you are really serious shoot me an email (jenna@blackbearperformance.com) with the system part number you are interested in, and I will give you the Charger fan discount.

Get a custom tune, the SuperChips is not at all optimized at part throttle.

So the best thing is to go get it dyno tuned. The will help mpgs and hp right?
JennaBear

Only if you are doing a full dyno tune (aka a load bearing dyno with part throttle mapping) and with a competent tuner. A lot of folks will go to a dyno for a tune and only get a few WOT pulls which you can not get a good tune off of.

So do i send off for a good tune or what. Sorry I have never dealt with any thing like this before.

Whoever you go with, just make sure they have experience tuning a F/I setup, as they are completely different animals from a N/A setup.
