This fall im going to begin building a 3 car garage on the back of my property. I will be doing 90% of the work. The only thing im paying to have done is pouring the slab and the roofing. Other than that, i'll be doing all the work, and im giving myself about 6-8 months to complete the project.

I've already purchased the lift for my garage :)

eh mine isn't worth showing yet. once the house is finished the garage will get all the attention. new 10' door for the hoe to fit (and some to spare for a bigger lift :D) fix the floor, new roof and siding, move the 16' Bench and all the tools in. and of course all the wood tools to go along with all the mech. tools.

o its 800sq. ft. as it sits, may get an addition...

My garage is getting closer to being done now. I've put in new windows, entry door, garage door, roof, exterior sheeting (OSB painted until I can afford siding), and pegboard on the walls. I'll get pictures sometime, when I get around to it. LOL

Ive got a divorcing friend's stuff, my xmas decorations, and my camping/vacation/bicycle stuff in one bay, and the other barely fits the tahoe and tool box.

A soon as it gets consistently warm, I can start putting winter stuff in the attic, get my tools sorted, and get my Xmas decorations up there so I can get my garage back. I don't have much time to mess with it until school lets out, and i have learned NOT to unpack or pack seasonal items without the supervision of 'the boss'.

Nice! I like the double deep bays, it gives you tear down space. I have a friend with what looks like a four car in the front that fits 10. It has one single door with a lift, a double door that is two deep and another single that is two deep with two lifts. I have to tape a micro fiber to my chest to keep up with the drool when i go to his house. He has an Audi R8, two 2010 Camaros, a 67 camaro, a stock '68, a pro street '68. and a street/strip '69. All mint!!!:rocking:

Here's The workbench I built in my garage. I designed it to have 4 ball bearing craftsman tool boxes under it, but only have the cheapo craftsman right now. The tv is a 32" and I have Dish network and it serves as a monitor for the computer so I can look up parts diagrams and check forums ;)

Ahhh! My baby is back from paint so i decided to overhaul the garage while she was out!

I did VCT tile with a few coats of wax! Its nice. Since the dirtuy jobs are quite over (yeah, right...) i decided i'd have it clean. we'll see how long it lasts.....

All my big tools; hyd press, column drill standing buffer etc etc have been relocated to the 'Shed' its big enough and that way it has become my ''Machine shop' and i get to keep the Garage clean.

I've been trying to envision a practical dream garage in my future home. Its getting difficult since we are trying to include a theater and game room along with my man cave.
My garage is really messy but I'm going to post it anyway. I'm going to post my cousin's garage down the street later. He has a 6 car garage with room for 12. One of the double doors is walled off and had a lift in it. It's also air conditioned.

I want a lift for the white Lambo in the pic. I also have a pink Escalade parked in front of the Lambo.

Thats a good one...I was looking for a white lambo and couldn't find it....till I looked down :)

I plan on diamond cutting my garage floor and laying down an epoxy pattern, new paint and accents on the walls, new lights etc this winter. MAYBE if I can find a cheap used AC unit, I might install it for the garage and plumb the ducts.

I'm pumped, cant wait

I've also been considering doing something like that but I may wait since we are moving into a new house in a few years if things go according to plan.
I don't care too much if the value increases from renovations that only I would care for because its a family home. Therefore, we won't be selling it. Also, trash/debris/leaves blow right into the garage due to the direction it is facing in my windy state. Its really annoying how it blows right in when I open the garage door.

Mine is the same, pretty windy up here. I'm trying to find a solution to that...maybe a 2 or 3inch high flexible piece of rubber door insulation that will block most of the leaves? Hmmm

Nothing special, two car garage with her car in there (trucks are too big) all my yard and snow crap, the shelves are all car stuff pretty much. It is functional though, yes it's messy and yes it is too cold to clean it out or the car.

Just started buuilding my dream garage. 40x50 with a covered porch on one corner. This is what my friends and I got accomplished in two days. Had to stop early today cause the heat index was about 115. Doing the work myself, so its gonna be a while till its done. It all started as a 25 X 30 then I got crazy!

However, where I work there is a parking garage, so as long as I'm not doing anything major I can at least use that and get out of the triple digit heat in the summer time. It's still hot, but at least its in the shade...

Don't have my own garage yet, but I am a GM Tech, at a GM Dealer. So all of my tools are at work, and I have a hoist. Along with all the other things in the shop I can use (Alingment rack's and such). We have about 40 hoist at work. Plus the truck shop (6 bay's) and then a full collision center and body shop. So I have use of them also.

But if I'm not working on the Tahoe at work, usually take it to my grandparents house. Garage is decent size, so I can get pretty much anything done there. And it's full of tools.

Mine is just your typical 2 car garage in a modern house. It does have a nice 5-foot extension in width on one side though, which is nice for storing tools, lawnmower, having extra room to work on things, etc.

The Tahoe's slot is currently filled by a busted BMW 328is. Relatives were here for the tday weekend and the clutch master cylinder took a dive. Couldn't get one in time, so they left in another car and I get the MOST wonderful job of doing a backbend under the dash to install the master. And fixing the coolant leak that I found while working under the car. Damn thing. I hope to not find anything else busted while I'm working on it.
