Just wondering if I should have the tranny serviced since it has 62xxx miles on it. I have no idea if it was ever serviced since we bought it with 58xxx miles. Thanks in advance

I do mine at the 100k mark but some may do it sooner than that

I just know the older GM trannys fail sooner than later. Not sure about these newer models.

They have 100K mile warranties on the drivetrain, no?

Haynes manual recommends 30k for 2000-2006 models. If you tow, I would go with that.

Definitely go more often if you tow! Good advice!

It has a 100k mile warranty but I'm worried about what happens at 101k

Nothing...I had mine serviced at 100k and we are doing great at 113:shrug: if you're worried do it at 80k or something. You're peace of mind is sometimes worth the extra $$$.

I did mine at 70k..... Every 30k is excessive....but 100k seems a little long to wait. You'll probably be fine either way, though.......
