After i replaced the fuel pump the cel came on stayed on for a while .well the other day i was just doin some minor maintanance i noticed the coolant temp sensor broke so i replaced it the cel went off for a while untile the truck made to operating temp and came back it does this everytime i start the truck .could it maybe be the o2 sensors.i bought the truck for 1000$ it was a work truck but need with a wife and child i was into the imports but always wanted a 2 door tahoe now thats all i drive and luv it .oh it has 300,000 miles but still runs good .i have a nunerous things on the list that i want to do to the truck but first thangs first .

I'd say go get the codes read. thats why they're there, easier than guessing what it *could* be.

Spend $60 on a code reader. Absolutely the best tool for cost I've purchased. Just get the cheap one from O'Reilly's. It is blue, and does everything you need.

just go to oreillys, autozone, advanced and they will scan in for free...then come back and give us the code and we'll see if we can then help.

No need for a code reader just use a paper clip. Jumper pins A and B, the two top right ones. Stick the key in the ignition and turn it forward but do not start the 'Hoe. The engine light light will flash in different sequences telling you what codes you have in the ECM.
