I crawled underneath and took the bolts all the way down for the torsion bars...so they are as low as it'll go
what do you guys mean when you talk about lowering the front with spindles and keys? Your saying I should get NEW/DIFFERENT Torsion Keys? whats the difference between new ones and these?
and what are spindles? Is it a EASY/QUICK mod? stuff I can do in a parking lot with limited tools?
*Im running outside to take the pic right now*

drive it like that for a bit and you'll crank it back up!
Spindles and keys can be done with mostly handtools although air will help quicken the install. Lowering keys will lower the suspension, but keep the torsion at or near factory specs. Spindles iwll raise the wheel hub upwards thus lowering the vehicle.

keys are just re-indexed, allows you to lower, but spindles is a whole new wheel assembly. Alot more to install.
But you can get 2" up front with keys.

convertibles add another level of coolness to a cool car, lowering a truck is like taking the vagina out of your GF. IT becomes useless.

fuck it..I'll buy an entire kit...
which kit should I get...I checked out mcgaughy's and Godfather Customs...
umm...which kit will I be able to use to drop the rear the most?
All I need is:
Coils (to drop rear)?
Keys (to drop front)?
Spindles (to drop front)?
Shocks (smoother ride)?
what are shock extenders...do I need them?
Is that a complete kit for these trucks?
I do NOT need drop shackles or drop hangers right? arent those only for leaf springs?

Yea shackels and hangers are for leafs. Shock reloacaters relocate the postion of the shock so that the travel would be were it was stock. If you kept your stock shocks with a drop, the shock would end up bottoming out. Mcgauhys, Djm, eibach, groundforce, belltech all make kits.

ok what does ur sad stories have to do with the topic at hand. DROP THAT BAD BOY!!! Blizzard just buy some 2" Mcgaughy spindles from a vendor on this site and adjust your factory keys for a 3" drop. Then buy some 5" coils and remove the isolators.

Simple as that.. Talk to Tim, he's a supporting vendor here and he'll take care of you..
Let's stop all the thread hijacking already. It's getting annoying..

which your doing right now. Your hijacking the thread by talking to him and telling him to go to a vendor. The origional topic is about how this one person (blizzardx) lowered his truck. Not about where denali anyone should go for his stupid lowering shit.

Actually RT, this thread is not how he lowered his truck. Its about him adjusting his torsion bars to see how low he could get it. He then went on to specifically ask where he could get a lowering kit.

check this out...I believe these trucks look good LIFTED and LOWERED...but like mentioned before...I believe by Boost/Max...It cost a lot more to lift these trucks PROPERLY then it does to lower them PROPERLY...
I throw my truck around corners as if it were BMW Z3....Im not only about going straight fast....I like how the truck handles...if I do what I like to it..(12-15 inch lift on 39s) I will not be able to drive like I do now...If Im going to spend $10,000-$12,000...it wouldnt be on modifying a vehicle that has no value...I'd put it in the bank or down on a house...or spend $5,000 on a supercharger! Im a lot more open minded then "you should only lift trucks/SUVs" I've had lifted trucks...pics are in my photo album...I like both worlds
yes, topic is about HOW to achieve lowest drop..thank you for everyone who is helping! :)

I agree, I want to know how to get the lowest rear drop without spending too much dough!! I have a ground force 2/3 kit on 24's and I am not happy with it, so I would definately go with a 3/5 kit!! my .02!!

from what I have gathered if you don't have shock extenders that may help bring the rear down a bit more, but to go 5" you'll need a 5" drop coil, shock relocators and to cut the bumpstop bracket. if you have autoride which I'm sure you do since you have a denali, you'll need the parts to trick the autoride into your new level.
