im looking to get a skyjacker 2-2.5" suspensioin lift.

what is an ideal wheel/tire size?

rim size
rim width
offset
backspace
etc.

i want them to look good and fit the truck. i obviously dont want the tires to be completely inside the wheel well but i dont want it sticking all the way out.
im just looking for different opinions. pics would be great.

thanks guys

Wrong section. but just run stock rims or stock specs imo. Slap a 285 tire on there and done. if u wanna stick out then run 4.5

toward the top of this page it says...

"Exterior Tires, Wheels, Paint, anything on the outside."

What size wheels do you want? is it a 4x4? Do you want big wheels and low profile tires or a 16 or 17 with some real tires? All this plays a factor.

4.5" back spacing is good. sticks the wheels out just a bit....more so the wider the wheel.

I WANT REAL TIRES!!! i hate when people put low pro mudders on their trucks, that is so stupid.
and yes its 4x4

i was thinking 17"x10" wheels +/- unless i should i should go smaller. does offset matter?

I figured if your lifting it even though its a wheel question put it in the suspension section, either way dont matter. and 10's are a bit much for what tire size you would be using 11.5 or 12.5 ? go with a 17 like you said, you will be happier in the long run.

run a 16x8 4.5" back spacing or a 17x8 or 17x9 all with 4.5 back spacing. They will all look good. get a nice 285 or even a 305 tire....lots of choices out there. And rule #1: pictures!

I am running a 17x9 on mine with 4.5" backspacing and a 285 I think that is a good combo
